How do we take screenshots?

Diffy uses Playwright with Chrome and Webkit (Safari) browsers for creating screenshots. But we added tons of code to stabilize them (e.g. stop dynamic elements, deal with popups and others). And this work keep going.

Is it any CMS specific?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely not. Diffy can take screenshots from any website. In the meantime we are most familiar with Drupal and WordPress but also have Shopify and other sites tested.

Does Diffy integrates with Figma?

Yes, it is possible to extract screenshots from Figma and upload them to Diffy.

How long does it take to take screenshots from my site?

Accepted Answer

Generally a site with 10-15 pages and 3 breakpoints takes under 5 minutes. Diffy takes about 1 minute to take a single screenshot. You can use up to 30 concurrent workers to take screenshots in parallel.

What breakpoints are supported?

You can configure any breakpoint between 240px and 3000px.
